Is it still possible to make money on craigslist without selling anything in 2019? Yes!

Let me ask you this: Would an extra $100, $50, or even $10 each week help?

What if you had a way to earn a few extra bucks like that every day?

It’s possible and it’s the exact outcome that hundreds of customers of Arbitrage Alchemist are getting…and you can too!

If you are considering Arbitrage Alchemist but not sure if it’s right for you, then read on.

I bought Arbitrage Alchemist including the upgrade to Pro. I’ve been using the product for a week so I can tell you exactly how it works, what my experience is, what the ‘gotchas’ are, and more.

Before I get started, let’s talk about what the product does.

Arbitrage Alchemist is a software tool that works on Windows PC’s that finds you opportunities to make a profit helping people.

It’s honest work.

And the best part is, you do not have to be the one who can help! The beauty of the app is that it finds opportunities for you right on craigslist…i.e. People who need help with creating a book cover or logo or website (or whatever you can imagine!)

Then Arbitrage Alchemist also finds someone who can fulfill the service!

It’s pretty slick. And the communication is all done via email – so you don’t have to worry about picking up the phone (unless you want to).

And that, in a nutshell, is how you make money on craigslist without selling anything!

Here is the video I made showing how this works:

Let’s see what you get…

Product features:

  • Makes searching fast and easy. Type in a keyword, then it just goes.
  • Search titles or posts for keywords.
  • Choose the category to search. At first you can just search all, then check the results. You’ll see that most results come from one category – so then you can narrow you future searches to just that category (which helps prevent your IP from getting banned)
  • Search by state then narrow by city. Works great for targeting certain states / cities

I think one of the biggest concerns I had about this product immediately when I saw it was that it would require using proxies.

To be clear, Method A does not require proxies at all.

Yes, the application does suggest you use proxies when you are in the Method B mode for searching craigslist.

However, my experience so far is that you can get by without buying proxies. (Thankfully)

The only time I’ve gotten my IP blocked by craigslist was when I left the setting to search All States. Obviously, that’s a pretty big task. With the default time-out settings in Arbitrage Alchemist, the app was able to search 40 out of 50 states before getting blocked.

I have been running searches by state 5 out of 7 days since buying the product and it still is working great.

I’m happy with that!

In all honesty, I prefer to search state by state anyway.

Also: After a week of being a customer, the emails from Chad and Tom that I recieved so far are useful. They go into some of the keys for making your searches and responses unique so that you aren’t doing the same thing as everyone else who bought the product.

One drawback

My experience with craigslist as a buyer/seller is that everyone struggles with getting emails delivered when responding to posts…

So no matter how unique you make your response, there’s a good chance that your email will end up in the junk box because so many email providers see craigslist email as junk.  This has nothing to do with Arbitrage Alchemist…it is just a fact of doing business with craigslist.

There is a workaround – but it is not always possible.

The workaround for responding and getting your message through works like this. Open up the ad (either in your browser or in the app) and look for any clues about the business you can find.

Is there a name or address you can use together with the state/city (from craigslist) to lookup other contact info? If so, then do it!

So far, I’ve found two companies who were looking for the service I offer.

Neither responded to my craigslist emails so far. However, using the method I just described, I was able to easily find one of the businesses online (they had the business name right in the craigslist post), and the other one included the business address in the ad so I was able to take the address together with the industry they said they were in and find the business with a quick google search.

Now all I do is reach out to them with a quick phone call (if possible) or email through the contact form referencing the craigslist post. I just add a quick sentence noting that my experience is responses directly through craigslist often end up in junk mail so I thought I would try to reach you another way just to see if you still need the service…
