Here is my honest Cloudways hosting review.

Yes, honest in that I’ll tell you about my experience so far (see the videos and read on below).

Am I Procrastinating?

Hey…who told you? Yea, switching hosts right now this week is probably not necessary…I know I have a lot of other stuff to do…

Anyway, where was I…

I’ve been using Hostgator for the past 10 plus years…

Like 6 years ago, they went out of fashion.

Bad service. Slow servers. Even slower servers.

Even worse service.

Well, I stuck with them…

I’ve pulled the trigger on switching web hosts before now…only to cancel the new host because I didn’t find they were any better…

Why Switch to Cloudways Now?

The real reason I’m switching hosts right now is because I finally broke down and did some testing of my own.

Why not rely on everyone else’s reviews and tests?

Honest answer: I just like to try it myself.

AND…

This is a big one…

Cloudways is really affordable. And I REALLY LIKE HOW THEY BILL YOU…

See, instead of trying to lock me in to a 2 or 3 year contract just to get down to an affordable monthly bill…

Cloudways offers simple billing. Pay as you go.

VERY AFFORDABLE without any contracts…I don’t even know if they offer annual or 2 year contracts…

Anyway. That alone made it really easy for me to at least give them a try.

Results

Probably the most impressive thing to me is how fast the WordPress dashboard works.

I mean, if you’ve gotten comfortable with slowly navigating around the inside of your WordPress site dashboard…

Join the club !!

BUT…just know there is a better way 🙂

Anyhow, check out the videos and see for yourself.

What is Cloudways Hosting Anyway?

Cloudways is totally different than what I used before…

First off, Cloudways is just the interface to a variety of super high quality cloud server providers…

Cloud server providers like Amazon AWS, Google, Digital Ocean, Linode, and Vultr.

The best way for me to explain it is that you can pick the server set up you want from those choices, and then manage it easily through Cloudways.

Watch the video here.

You can add servers from multiple providers…

You can just pick one server (like I did) and then upgrade it over time as you need too…

Check it out for yourself.
